posted: Wednesday, November 11, 2009
Last Saturday, the club did a ride to Idyllwild and then to Mt. Palomar.
We started up Hwy 243 in Beaumont, and then rested at Lake Fulmor to take in some great scenery. Then continued on to Idyllwild and had lunch at The Lumbermill.
Afterwards, we continued on Hwy 243, and then headed east on Hwy 74, and then south on Hwy 371 for a gas stop in Anza. Finally, we continued on Hwy 371, and then headed south on Hwy 79, and west on Hwy 76, and then went up and down Mount Palomar.
The ride finished in Temecula.

| About Us |
|
The HeatWave Riding Club is a motorcycle riding club whose members call Southern California their home. We're not a motorcycle club, but a riding club focused on the enjoyment of riding motorcycles and the continued improvement of riding skills and techniques.
Our goal is to promote the pasttime of motorcycle riding, racking up lots of miles, seeing lots of countryside, and getting the most out of the enjoyment of riding.
If anything makes the HeatWave different from other riding clubs is that we try to put more emphasis on the "club" aspect of being a riding club. We're all about the riding, but limit our membership to those who see eye to eye with our unique philosophy of motorcycle riding.
If you're a rider that just loves to ride, and ride, and ride... and you'd like to share that passion with others, hook up with us and see if our group is what you're looking for.
